Algebra: Expanding and Factorising Expressions
By the end of this lesson, you should be able to understand what expanding means, expand expressions involving brackets, expand double brackets, understand what factorising means, factorise simple algebraic expressions, factorise expressions with a common factor, factorise simple quadratics and check your answers by reversing the process.

Solving Linear Equations and Inequalities
By the end of this lesson, you should be able to understand what linear equations are, solve one-step, two-step, and multi-step equations, solve equations involving brackets, solve equations with variables on both sides, understand what inequalities are, solve linear inequalities, represent inequalities on a number line and apply equations and inequalities to real-life situations

Simultaneous Equations
By the end of this lesson, you should be able to understand what simultaneous equations are, solve simultaneous equations using substitution, solve simultaneous equations using elimination, check your solutions, understand graphical solutions and apply simultaneous equations to word problems

Quadratic Equations and Their Solutions
By the end of this lesson, you should be able to understand what a quadratic equation is, recognise quadratic expressions, solve quadratic equations by factorising, solve quadratic equations using the quadratic formula, understand the discriminant, interpret solutions graphically and apply quadratics to real-life problems

Quadratic Graphs and Their Features
By the end of this lesson, you should be able to recognise a quadratic graph, understand what a parabola is, dentify the roots or x-intercepts, find the y-intercept, identify the turning point (vertex), understand the line of symmetry, sketch simple quadratic graphs and interpret quadratic graphs in real-life situations
